Keeping a focus on others and giving back is part of our mind-set and our culture. It’s just who we are, and what we believe in doing. These are organizations that we have chosen to partner with on our journey.
• Women Entrepreneurs Small Business Boot Camp - Brownsville Chamber of Commerce. Maria is currently collaborating with the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce as the lead facilitator and co-creator of the Women Entrepreneurs Small Business Boot Camp. This is an intensive 9 month program designed to train and coach women entrepreneurs in all areas of their business. Their mission is to collaborate with women small business owners to provide the knowledge, resources and plan of action needed to make their "entrepreneurial dream" a reality.
• Christs Harbor Church - Maria is involved in many areas of her church. As the choir director she leads the worship music for the Traditional Sunday service. The choir also provides Music Ministry to the residents of the Laguna Vista Assisted Living Center three times a year.
Maria has provided her training/facilitating services to the Church Leadership Team, 2nd Mile Program and Women's Ministry. Most recently she organized and facilitated a Women's Christmas Gathering. The half day program focused on "Making this Christmas Season - Stress-Free, Simple and Special".•Sunny Glen Children's Home is a non-profit childcare organization that provides residential care, foster care, independent living, and college care to abused and neglected children. We provide Angel Food monthly for the children in this home.
